Education World Wide is dedicated to providing high-quality knowledge through an interesting online school program. In addition to core subjects, we offer a wide variety of elective subjects. Our students enjoy these electives because they help them explore personal interests, improve talents, and gain practical skills. Through our online high-school classes, we support students in creating a secure path towards their college ambitions.
One of the advantages that EduWW students get at our online school is an array of elective subjects. A student chooses electives based on their interest, so they get to learn about things they are actually curious about. Moreover, these subjects help them gain knowledge and skills necessary for their future, such as going to college or finding a job.
EduWW currently has more than 90 elective subjects, and we are continually working on upgrading the list of facultative classes. At an online elementary school, we offer students to learn the second foreign language. At online middle school, they get to go through Career Exploration subjects, which are perfect for discovering what interests and affinities. The online high school program has the most varied offer of subjects.
Online High School Program
Since we have a lot of elective subjects for online high school students, we sorted them at 13 elective departments. Now we are going to give you an overview of these departments, but in future articles, we will introduce each of them individually. EduWW High School Departments consist of sets or groups of subjects that are covering a particular field or industry in which a student might be interested.
Through these departments, students gain more extensive knowledge about a particular field. That enables them to explore personal interests deeply. Aside from education, they also improve some practical skills required for those fields. Elective subjects can play a crucial role in a student’s future and career. Most of them will continue to college to study those fields, and after graduating, they can find a job in particular industries.
In other words, the knowledge students get at EduWW creates a perfect foundation for their further education. And both core and elective subjects participate in establishing that base of knowledge.

Students Earn Credits for Online Elective Classes
At each high school grade, students get four core subjects and two electives. However, if a student desires to take more electives, EduWW will enable them to do so. Just like our core subjects, the curriculum for electives also has high-quality, and more importantly, it is approved. That means EduWW students gain credits after completing some electives. The total amount of points they can earn through elective subjects is 8. The overall amount that they carry from our online high school is between 21 and 24.
