The EduWW Summer Camp in Greece is over – and we all wish it wasn’t! In a nutshell: The week in Platamon was a blast!
The 20 students and four of our tutors spent a week together bonding and forging friendships through seaside leisure, fun, and games in the amazing Platamon. The EduWW tutors made it easy, tirelessly sparking games and laughter.
Some of the things we did:
On arrival, our students played icebreaker games so everybody was introduced to everybody. Beach team games, pool games in the afternoon, and board games in the sprawling garden in the evenings were on the daily agenda. They also made pottery and played mystery auctions.
The group strolled into town and visited the Platamon Castle and a Greek pottery shop.
On a trip to Mt. Olympus, they visited the Dion Archaeological Park, Litochoro, Paleos Panteleimonas with its stunning views and artisan shops, and dipped in the waters of the Agia Kori Waterfall.
We sailed 60 kilometers to the beautiful Skiathos, visited its iconic beach, rode a water sofa, and walked around Skiathos town.
On the final day, we signed each other’s EduWW shirts. The writing on the shirts may fade with time, but memories and friendships forged for life never will.
