A Day to Remember
We believe that while it is essential for children to have the flexibility that online learning provides, it is equally important for them to have the opportunity to meet their tutors and classmates in real life. In doing so, they can build friendships and gain experiences beyond the digital world. The first of many Meet and Greet events this year was the perfect opportunity for our students to spend quality time with their peers and teachers in Austria’s capital, and we’ll do our best to convey just how much fun we all had in Vienna through this post!
A Warm Welcome with Tutors
This special day started in a truly special way. The children finally had the chance to meet their teachers as well as their classmates, and the first meeting was genuinely heartwarming. It was clear to everyone from the start – this was going to be a great day.
And so it was – lots of smiles, conversations, bonding, and creating (perhaps) lifelong friendships!
Madame Tussauds Museum – A World of Wonder
After the warm introductions and initial chats, we headed to the Madame Tussauds Museum, where our students enjoyed viewing incredible wax figures of historical figures, celebrities, and cultural icons from all over the world. This iconic spot in Vienna was where we took some fun photos, which will remain lifelong memories for both the children and us.
Food, Fun, and Friendship
After exploring, it was time to refuel with a delicious lunch at the legendary Hard Rock Cafe. The lively atmosphere and tasty food made it the perfect spot for students to relax, chat, and strengthen their newfound friendships.
It was a chance for everyone to connect and enjoy each other’s company.
A Magical Journey Through History
To end our day, we took a magical journey back in time with the Vienna Time Travel experience. This immersive, interactive tour transported students through the city’s fascinating history with stunning visuals, sound effects, and captivating storytelling. It was the perfect way to wrap up a day full of fun, learning, and new discoveries.
Excited for More Adventures!
This Meet and Greet was the first of many this year and certainly won’t be the last! We’re already looking forward to more opportunities like this for our students to meet in person, bond, and share amazing experiences.

“My day was really good! The highlight was definitely the Time Travel Museum’s VR theater, where I watched a movie about Vienna’s history through virtual reality goggles—it felt so lifelike. It was an exciting and fun way to learn about the past. I also met a new friend named Babu, which made the day even better!” – told one of our students, Vincent.
